So much fun, so little sleep

This is what happens when you put six very involved moms and six very excited 5 years on a church van and send them to camp for the first time. Of course add in chocolate before bed (Smores), bunk beds for the first time (kids all on the top bunk), and a few glow sticks to scare off any monsters under the bed and it's a recipe for a loooooooong sleepless night at camp.

The trip started out as we loaded up at the church for the 2 hour drive to camp. Not even 40 minutes in, Kaleigh had to go to the bathroom at the site of the first gas station. And then again 30 minutes later at the next one. Nerves I guess!

She loved getting to ride Jiggers the horse, but archery is not in her future! There were lots of the traditional camp songs. None of which the kids will remember after learning the "Throw up Song" or how to pray to the music of the Addams Family theme song. The kids all left with t-shirts asking we were coming back to camp.

Sounds like you had a grand time! I think I remember the "Throw Up" song from camp one time, haha
