Happy Birthday Kaleigh!

Amazing how quick they grow from adorable, powder smelling bundle of joy to diva in six short years. August 22nd is Kaleigh Breanne's 6th birthday. We will be celebrating with some neighborhood friends at Pizza Hut then having a larger celebration next weekend with the family. Happy Birthday, Kaleigh!

All I Ever Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten

or so the title goes. Kaleigh headed off to Kindergarten at Meadow View this year. She insisted on riding the bus even though I had taken the day off to drive her there on her first day. "You can drive there and meet me if you want, Mom" she said in her big girl voice. I didn't cry I was surprised but I was excited to pick her and Ethan up to hear about their first day.

Ethan was so excited to get into his classroom and he thinks "Mrs. Cole Rocks" so I guess that is a good thing. Kaleigh is imitading everything at home from school so at least she listens.

I know it's August in Kansas but really is it necessary to be 104 degrees, really. At least Makenna was prepared for the sun with her new sun hat and sunglasses from Auntie Stacy!
